You heard it right,ladies and gentlemen.Avatar is running for the fourth weekend at sreedhar cinemas.With the crowd showing no  sign backing off,Kochi along with the rest of the world will see Avatar in class ‘A’ cinemas for weeks to come.There were some people complaining that the 3d effects is not complete at Sreedhar cinemas when the person takes seat at the backend.

But today,5′th January,being a day of Bus strike and mayhem with heavy traffic in the city I got lucky to actually see those in action.And yes,they were made for controlling traffic from one side at a time,my guess was right.So I thought I would post this blog removing possible curiosities on what those shiny things are actually for.In fact the traffic lights were inaugrated with a little un noticed fanfare i guess, now that people might have missed  the reports of most of the newspapers on that day, a feature on how the new system ,apart from benefiting commuters, the signal system will bring some relief to policemen who are now posted on either side of the bridge to regulate traffic.

‘Rock on kochi’ a charity based show was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium ,Cochin.The Show started at around 7pm with a traditional dance.Mr. Devisigh Shekavah the husband of Indian President and other family members were present in the event.Shanker Mahadevan was the star of the event.He sang chinga masam, kalyana kacheri and  Bollywood tracks including Mitwa from Kabhi Alvida Na kehna.Crowd dancde to his mesmerising tunes.

Singer karthik sang tracks from Boys, varanam aayiram etc.This Gallans favourite was the track ‘Pichle saat dinon mein..’ from the movie Rock On.Sahnkar’ji kept rocking along.The one from taare zameen Par was dedicated to all the mothers present.It was truly a X’mas week-end feast for all the kochite’s.

The rain in between the show did cause a few of the audience to leave early.But majority of the croud stayed in their seats till 10.30pm.

The singers list included Afsal, Karthik,Sisily and Malathy  along with Shanker Mahadevan.

I ordered for an 8 piece bucket,which did cost Rs.299/.Agustine was on nombu 4 x’mas,so he ordered some veggy thing.I came to know that you had to pay extra tax,which was  really disappointing.I think they could’ve mentioned the tax pluss rate of each one.
they deliverd it quickly.We went to the 1st floor KFC area,throuh the steps within the restaurnt itself.
Upstairs looked just awesome.Well designed and maintained.We started to eat and looked around for girls too(well malu at boys i guess).
It was fun and hospitality was just superb.And I think there were more waiters than customers,although there was pretty decent rush.What I mean to say is that there were loooods of waiters.
They gave us a kool feedback form,which Agustine filled.
We wanted more, so we ordered again.

Agustine bought this famous KFC softie which was nice and soft and it just costed him Rs.10!.Yes you heard it right T E N 10  plus tax .Thank god tax was 1 rupee.In short for Rs.11/ you will get a pretty good softie.
Finally we decided to wash the hands.They had just two wash basins.it could have been much bettr if there were more.The washing place felt so congested.We got downstairs and met more rajagiri people.Rajagiri walas were getting in even when while we were leaving.The KFC people even invited us to see the kitchen,wich was kind of intrestin but  didnt  as we had plans for a Cherai visit.
And that marks the end of this small KFC story.(sorry Mr.Kochigallan, some problem with my phone.I will email the Photos as soon as it is fixed by tomorrow)
