This Gallan appreciates the guy who found sense in shifting the shopping hub of Kochi, to places like Edappally and Kaloor. Its common sense that the shifting would be mandatory for our kochi’s growth. And as a testimony for this , the PVS builders are coming up with their first mall in Kochi at Kaloor, the next hot spot of Kochi. The huge construction in front of the PVS Memorial Hospital, opposite to the Gokulam Park Inn hotel, is guessed to be the building for the mall.
May be the mall might not bring anything new, but it can certainly assure a lot of fun and good times to a huge number of Kochi’tes, just because of its location. Kaloor is a densely populated area, with many offices, schools and colleges. The main advantage that it would have is that currently there ain’t any good places to hang out in the vicinity of Kaloor. The Gallans would die to avoid the ‘North Bridge traffic ‘.The crowd from St.Alberts College, NUALS, Model technical school etc are itself enough to keep the place always happening. The other good thing about the place is its connectivity. The Kaloor Bus Stand also will ensure that the mall will be getting a fairly good visibility
A few details known to this Gallan is that the building would be having 16 floors, out of which the mall will be in the bottom 5 floors. The info is not official and not many details about the project are available. Will update our fellow Gallans if this Gallan gets to know anything new about it
