P.S. Girijan from Kochi with 3 wins and spread of 357 and Agnes Joseph  from Kottayam with 3 wins and spread of 305 won the TEAM SAM COCHIN CLUB OPEN SCRABBLE CHAMPIONSHIP, 2011 for the Men and Women categories respectively. The event was held at Cochin Club, Church Road, Fort Kochi on Sunday, 17 July 2011. The 2^nd and 3^rd place in Men category went to Samor Joseph & A.L.D. Simon and in Women category to Silvy Cherian and Asha Kamath.

Sridev V. beat Mohammed Hakeem Kinnan 2-1 and took Junior Under 18 years title and Sukhpreet Singh claimed the Under 15 years title beating Nitya Devayya 2-1.

The tournament was organised by the Cochin Club in association with Team Sam Academy under the auspices of the Scrabble Association of Kerala.
