Asha Kamath with 3 wins and a spread of 254 points became the Overall and Womens Champion in the Boomerang Team Sam All Kerala Scrabble Championship held at Boomerang Klub, 3^rd Floor, Oberon Mall, NH Byepass, Kochi-24 on Sunday, 27 November, 2011. Azmi Habeeb and Kavitha Rajeev came in 2^nd and 3^rd place. V. Sridev, Krishnadas S. Nair and P.S.Girijan took the first three places in the Men’s category.

In the Junior under 18 years category Samor K. Joseph and Mohammed Kinan came 1^st and 2^nd while V. Tushar Nilker and Rohan Rajeev came 1^st and 2^nd in the Under 15 years category. Sridev got the highest game score of 547 points and Mohd Kinan the highest word score of 82 points for the word FRONTER.

V.T. Gireesh,General Manager of Boomerang Klub gave away the prizes to the winners. The tournament was organised by the Boomerang Klub in association with Team Sam Academy under the auspices of the Scrabble Association of Kerala.
