World’s largest floating library to visit Kochi
Logos Hope, ship housing the world’s largest floating library, to visit Kochi! The ship is scheduled to arrive on 25th of May (2011). If everything goes as per the plan, she would be departing on 21st June, covering a period of almost one month’s stay here in Kochi. The ship is big enough to hold up to 1,000 visitors at any time. The vision of the trip is to bring knowledge, help and hope to the world. Its now anchored at Colombo (Sri Lanka) after which she would travel to Tuticorin and then to Kochi.

Book fair is going to be the main attraction of the visit. The fair would feature above 7,000 (Seven Thousand !!!) different titles from various genres like studies related, professional and career interests, individual development, personal growth, etc. There are about 400 people in the ship including the volunteers and staff, from about 50 different countries. They are to live on board for two years!!!
