Now anyone wondered what this “Jnnurm” written in all Volvo buses that ply in Trivandrum & Cochin ? Well,I have a lot of times ! I even asked this in Twitter:

But I got no answers,but it simple to just google and find.But then i really thought about possible full forms of those words and then it occurred to about reading something few months back on a National Urban Development Project which was named after Jawaharlal Nehru. I asked my sister too,no one knew what it actually meant.Anyway I guessed it had something like “Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban…blah blah”,so then i decided to google about it and was shocked to find the project overview. I was really proud for a moment and shocked after that seeing the misery behind the progress of such a Huge project due to lapses of State Governments.

Anyway now we know what it means

#JnNurm –> Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission
