All the Gallans of Kochi might have heard the news that Kochi Police is making its presence felt in the web.For the late comers,yes Kochi Police is making its presence felt in the web.They have opened accounts at Facebook Twitter etc.First things first,hats off to the initiative.Even the big brands kerala are shying away from the Social media.But our Police force made an example.After all social media is all about communication right?

The Not So good news in Kochi Police Social Media efforts

Well now comes the bad part.If the gallans out there checked out kochi police accounts in twitter and facebook,you would have noticed

• They are not Kochi Police in facebook and twitter but Kochipeacemaker.Now who is going to guess that and search ?
• You have to send a friend request in facebook and has protected tweets in twitter.
• Wasn’t facebook page supposed to be as easy as clicking the Like Button? And clicking the follow button to view the Tweets?

Things could have been better if they learned twitter and facebook before actually launching the accounts.So Kochi Police if you are listening,We have nothing to say but quote a friend of Kochigallan the mosquito (theanad.com) “Dear Kochi Police . . .Don’t be an island . . . Welcome to “Social” Networking! ”
