Kochi Metro Rail’s official website launched!
Shouting out loud is the Kochi Metro Rail Limited with the release of their official website www.kochimetro.org. This marks the beginning of a new era.. The city is soon gonna get transformed into a metro.. The KOCHI METRO!

Speaking about the website. Its simple but appealing. Top banner flashes a collection of the metro’s statistical advantages of being fast, economical, reliable, safe and eco-friendly. Then there are various tabbed sections like ‘About the Project’, ‘Documents’, ‘Careers’, ‘Contact Details’, etc. There is also a special section for the Vision & Mission of the project and also for the latest updates with the project. Not all the sections in the website are complete though.
The most interesting two features that this Gallan noticed in the website were its ‘Route Map‘ section and and the list of ‘Metro Stations‘. Following is the list of places where Metro stations (stops) have been planned in the city:
