In BEACH tourist segment , COCHIN is seemingly going at par with GOA.  WHAT we lack the infrastructure. There should be more WIDE ROADS from beaches  to nearest important SH/ NH TOWN.  The chappa beach aka Malippuram beach has to be renamed into MILKY WAY BEACH , that is more tourist friendly. In BEACH tourist segment , COCHIN is seemingly going at par with GOA.

We are planning of to go via Marine Drive on Jetty to Vypin! But then how do we get to the place? Also is there food facility for the vegetarians? and are there any nearby shops to buy some snacks, cold drinks?? Take right once after you cross all the Goshree bridges. And travel around 3 Kms.. Was all it was promised to be.. Perfect for families like mine with small kids in tow.. Although I really wouldn't recommend going there as early as 11 am.. Get there by noon.. in time for lunch.. Spend some time in the shade fishing, and then boating or relaxing on one of the hammocks strung up between the coconut trees... The Chappa beach is pristine and untouched in comparison with Cherai.... Thanks for tipping us off on a lovely way to spend a holiday Gallan.. Checked the place out recently..
