So, who wouldnt like eating at a place which has a painting of shakila!? a treat for the eyes and stomach..kashi is one of the oldest cafe’s in fort kochi and by far the best too..located in the very beginning of burgher street this place is hardly ever empty.
From the valuable paintings to the tailoring tables which have been reformed to dining tables, the setting is one that should be marvelled at cause you wouldnt find a place so unique anywhere. There are a few open spaces,lot of plants and a water pump too which gives you the outdoorsy feel even though you are inside a neatly constructed buliding.
The menu is simple and it keeps changing daily with the specials displayed in the entrance itself.The chocolate cake is too good to miss.It might not be like those conventional cakes which you get from some fancy cake shop and even when you taste it at first you would regret spending so much on it but once you are done the feeling you get is something different.Also, the iced tea and lemonade are worlds apart too from what you wouldve tasted before.One awesome place and a must visit if you want to just relax and enjoy the silence.The only sad thing is the place closes at 7:30 so make sure you get there before that!
