In Malayalam, ‘Kasavu’ means ‘exquisite embroidery work’ ( read malayalai embroidery work) and ‘kada’ means ‘shop’. As the name says, ‘Kasavu Kada’ is the ultimate place for all your ‘Kasavu’ shopping needs. When a new pair of ‘kasavu’ dresses for my guru was needed, This Gallan dint had to think for a second place.

All the Gallans of Kochi might have heard the news that Kochi Police is making its presence felt in the web.For the late comers,yes Kochi Police is making its presence felt in the web.They have opened accounts at Facebook Twitter etc.First things first,hats off to the initiative.Even the big brands kerala are shying away from the Social media.But our Police force made an example.After all social media is all about communication right?

Adventurous ride, thrilling speed, beautiful women, young kids, sweating it out, hanging on to life .. well these words.. the only thing that might pop in a normal human mind is some adventure land or may be Shashi Tharoor’s entry and exit into politics. Ok, what I was talking about then was about the Private Bus Services in Kochi.

6th was the 1st place in the city introducing POOL , SNOOKER and play station games to the public . I remember going to this place as a kid for playing play station games like bloody roar, X-men and all . 6th was the only place where u could find a play station at that time. But play station business didn’t last long because everyone started buying it at home . So 6th became a place just for snookers

When it comes to shopping, like everyone else,this Gallan is also conscious (some say I’m over-conscious.. Whatever ). And as a medium-earning average Kochi’te, this Gallan has some favourite shopping spots, most of which are the so called ‘Factory Outlets”. which is gonna be shared with you people in the coming paragraphs.

This time, the story is about the Blossom Book Shop outlets in Kochi. Many would already have visited the outlets or would have atleast heard about the two wonderful second hand bookshops. For those who haven’t, here is the Gallan story for you.
