The ‘Ambedkar Marg’ comes in as a blessing!

The project has turned out good to the hundreds or thousands who would want to reach Thevera from Manorama Junction, without crossing the South Over-bridge. Interesting – Inviting the public to make flyovers in Kochi a reality!

TweetShareIt is a fact known to every Gallan that building the so called ‘Ernakulam fly-over series’ is inevitable. The concerned authorities, as they have always been, seems to be not at all interested. Now the only way out for us, Kochi Gallans, is to pool up and cry out loud, to let the authorities hear about our need for the fly-overs. And here is a wonderful initiative towards this cause – an online mass petition signing initiative!

Soon Kochi to get the MEMU train service!

TweetShareThe MEMU (Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit) train, which was allotted to the Kochi Railway station in the railway budgets of 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, completed its test run in Kochi. The trial run began last week, when the train started from Kochi and reached Kollam via Kayamkulam . It returned to Ernakulam on the next day morning before proceeding towards Kayamkulam via Kottyam.
