Kochi Startup Village Community Gathering

Startup Village in Kochi is famous across geographies for its wonderful entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives. One of that kind is the  Startup Village Community Gathering, popularized by #svcg!
SVCG has been a brilliant avenue developed by the Kochi Startup Village towards helping the start-ups incubated with it to showcase their products to prominent entrepreneurs, mentors and investors. SVCG is conducted on the 3rd Saturday of every month, at ground floor, 10K Building, Startup Village Kochi campus.

Kochi Muziris Biennale 2014 starts from December 12; tradition continues.

Exciting it could be, the second edition of Kochi Muziris Biennale to start from 12 December, the same starting date when it was held for the first time ever in 2012! The contemporary art festival would be around for 108 days, ending on 29 March 2015.

Kochi Jews during the 1930s – A treat for your eyes!!!

Now this is what is called treasure, or may be ‘digital treasure’. Gallan found this amazing video on Youtube that has black-and-white visuals of the Kochi Jew life, way back in the 30s!

Another interesting episode of theatrics at the JTPAC, this Sunday! Flinn Theater presents ‘C Sharp C Blunt’, a witty, humorous and satirical interrogation of what it is like being a woman in the entertainment industry today. Directed by Sophia Stepf of the Flinn Theater and performed by singer-actress MD Pallavi, this play has been staged at various theaters across the country and has won many accolades including Winner of Mahindra Excellency in Theatre Awards 2014 for Best Original Script, Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Innovative Sound/Music Design. …

Interesting – Inviting the public to make flyovers in Kochi a reality!

It is a fact known to every Gallan that building the so called ‘Ernakulam fly-over series’ is inevitable. The concerned authorities, as they have always been, seems to be not at all interested. Now the only way out for us, Kochi Gallans, is to pool up and cry out loud, to let the authorities hear about our need for the fly-overs. And here is a wonderful initiative towards this cause – an online mass petition signing initiative!
