Hello Kochi’tes. I’m basically from the North of Ernakulam, now a ‘Gallan’too. I’m back home after spending a week long vacation in Kochi.I’ll tell you the story behind me being a Gallan.
Have had been to Kochi many a times before, and knew exactly how to reach both the railway stations(Town and Junction), be it anywhere from the city. Actually, I thought I knew all the ways to the stations, until the Gallan who dropped me back proved me wrong.
Must see places in Kerala?. Alleppey, Wayanad..list goes on and on.But Athirappilly Waterfalls will make it in the top 10 of the list 
.So this time, its Athirappilly waterfalls, (in the Gallan style ).
Situated in Mangalavanam(an area of mangroves behind high court building),the station was build during the British rule.Many great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi Kochi from The old Majestic Railway station .
We decided to check out the old railway station and was sad to find that the station in total ruins.Mosquitoes (not kochigallan the mosqutio..unfriendly,blood sucking ones)
Before describing about Puthu-Vypin, This Gallan would like to tell a few words about its mother island, the Vypin. Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) describes Vypin as to be the island having the highest density of population in the whole world.Another Cool Trivia for Kochi to boast of. Wikipedia also says that this 27 Km long (approx.) island was formed after a heavy flood in the year 1341.

Yeah, you heard me right, LCD SCREENS! lol.
At first, i too was a bit bemused by what i saw. ‘What on earth is an LCD screen sitting on an ordinary Auto???’.
